1. Our marks

VERA, the VERA logo, and Virtual Executive & Resource Assistant are marks of VERA. Your subscription does not grant you a license to use them beyond what this policy permits.

Registration status varies by jurisdiction. This policy asserts our rights in the marks; it does not claim any particular registration.

2. What you may do

Without asking us first, you may:

  • Refer to VERA accurately. Say that your business uses VERA, write about it, review it, or name it in a comparison, using the word VERA in plain text.
  • Link to us. Link to our website using the name VERA as the link text.
  • Use screenshots for commentary. Include unaltered screenshots of the product in reviews, tutorials, or training material, provided they do not show another customer's data and are not presented as your own interface.

3. What you may not do

You may not:

  • Imply endorsement. Use our marks in a way that suggests VERA sponsors, endorses, certifies, or is affiliated with you, your business, your product, or your event.
  • Use them in your own branding. Use VERA or a confusingly similar term in your business name, product name, app name, logo, or as a dominant element of a design.
  • Register confusing identifiers. Register a domain name, social handle, or trademark containing VERA or a confusingly similar variation.
  • Alter the marks. Modify the logo, change its colors or proportions, combine it with your own mark, or use it as an icon for your own application.
  • Use them in advertising. Bid on our marks as advertising keywords in a way that misleads, or use them in ad copy in a way that implies you are us.

4. Third-party marks inside VERA

VERA displays the names and logos of platforms it integrates with so you can recognize them. Those marks belong to their respective owners, are used for identification only, and their appearance does not imply that the owner endorses or is affiliated with VERA.

When you connect a platform, that platform's own brand guidelines apply to how you may describe the connection to your customers.

5. Reporting misuse and asking permission

To report misuse of our marks, or to request permission for a use this policy does not cover, write to support@myvera.io with the subject line "Trademark". Include what you want to do, where it will appear, and a mock-up if you have one.
